For millions of Americans, joining a gym is their number one priority at the turn of the New Year. They have grand visions of becoming the ultimate fitness model by summer time. They think that they’re going to lose the belly fat, lose that stubborn arm fat and tone up those cellulite laden legs. And this is all going to miraculously happen by joining a gym. Uhhh, yeah right! Let’s fast forward to the end of that same year.

Those same Americans are in the same physical health state, if not worse, than when the year started and they vowed to join a gym and change their health.  They haven’t lost any weight, they’ve actually gained weight. The only thing that you lost is the money you spent on your gym membership.

Weight loss camps are becoming more and more popular and they aren’t just for overweight kids anymore.  They are for adults too, and they can give you the kind of holistic focus that you need to address weight loss and fitness issues.

What Are Weight Loss Camps?

Weight loss camps can be either day camps where the participants come to the facility on a daily basis and then go home at the end of the day or they can last over several days to a week or more or participants stay at the facility for the entire time.  There are weight loss camps for both children and adults and there are even some facilities that accommodate both adults and children.
